Panoramic X-rays
Dr. Suway takes panoramic X-rays to reveal bone abscesses, show impacted teeth or determine the condition of dental work such as old root canals or fillings.
Panoramic X-rays put out less radiation than traditional Full Mouth Xray. Your X-rays can be seen by Dr. Suway in just several minutes. And having them taken is much more comfortable than old-fashioned mouth xrays!

Early tooth decay detection
Dr. Suway uses laser technology to screen for early signs of tooth decay. Using the DIAGNOdent laser, he can detect early tooth decay without taking the chance of missing small cavities.
The DIAGNOdent is a pen-like probe that sends a safe, painless laser beam into the tooth and checks its health. An alarm will signal if a tooth shows signs of decay.
This technology can catch tooth decay before the tooth is destroyed from the inside out.

Intraoral cameras
Dr. Suway uses tiny, digital intraoral cameras that fit comfortably in your mouth, enabling him to see an enlarged image of your teeth and any problems. The camera is located in the tip of the intraoral wand and transmits real-time video for you and the doctor to review.
Additionally, we save the video on our computers for future reference. Copies can be made for your records or for procedure verification by your insurance company.
Hi-tech TMJ diagnosis, treatment & relief

Laser gum disease treatment
Dr. Suway employs laser technology to handle mild to intermediate gum disease. Our special laser is designed for the soft-tissues of the mouth and can treat gum disease before it becomes severe.
The tiny laser is aimed between the gum tissue and teeth where it painlessly removes and kills bacteria that cause gum disease. The small laser is able to penetrate deeply into pockets between the gums and teeth, ensuring that bacteria has no place to hide.
