Meet Dr. Wayne Suway
You are in good hands when you sit in the dental chair of Dr. Suway. Besides earning a 100% satisfaction rating among his patients, Dr. Suway is a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry, a prestigious honor reserved only for the top percentile of general dentists in the country.
Dr. Suway holds a faculty position at the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry. He is licensed to practice in Georgia, Florida, Pennsylvania and New York. But it’s his personal approach to dentistry that keeps his loyal patients coming back year after year.
Dr. Suway combines state-of-the-art treatment with an artisan’s touch to create naturally beautiful smiles for his patients.
Education, training and recognition
Dr. Suway earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Emory University School of Dentistry and his Bachelor’s degree from Bucknell University. He completed an additional one-year program in Implant Dentistry under the American Academy of Implant Dentistry at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Suway has been recognized as a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantology, and an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Suway has been recognized as a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry for more than ten years. This prestigious award is reserved for those few American dentists who have reached the profession's pinnacle in both training and experience. With more than 1,000 hours of continuing education training in applied dental techniques and technology, including extensive training in implant and cosmetic dentistry, and thirty years of providing quality dental care to thousands of patients, Dr. Suway has been appropriately acknowledged by his peers as a leader, and an example to other dentists.
In order to provide his patients with the best care, Dr. Suway and his staff pursue continuous, ongoing training and education to stay on top of the latest technology.
Connected to the community
Dr. Suway and his wife, Barbara, have made their home in the Atlanta area for more than 30 years, and have two sons. Barbara is a partner in a small interior design firm that specializes in healthcare, contract, and residential design. When he is not with patients, Dr. Suway enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and playing golf.

Office Manager
"I have been employed with Dr. Suway since 2005. My duties include marketing, scheduling appointments, charting, processing payments and dental claims. I like the interaction with our patients when I check them in and out of the office. Our office has a very intimate atmosphere. Customer care and satisfaction is our number one priority. We work well as a team and it shows. Our patients feel welcome and at ease when they come into our office.
"I was born and raised in Fairmont, WV where I graduated from Fairmount Senior High School. I moved to Altanta in 1985. Atlanta is a great city to live in and has a lot to offer everyone who lives here. I guess that’s why I’ve never left. The weather is especially nice and I enjoy spending time outdoors. My hobbies include gardening, planting, photography, swimming and cooking.

"My name is Stephanie and I’m a registered Dental Hygienist. My job duties include providing patients with regular cleanings, periodontal (gum disease) therapy, and home care education / instruction. I enjoy working with Dr. Suway and his staff. Our dental team truly cares about the patients and it’s nice to know that I am working with people who care about others as much as I do.
"After earning my degree in Dental Hygiene and graduating Summa Cum Laude from Georgia Highlands College, I joined Dr. Suway and his outstanding team of dental professionals in May, 2008. My passion for dental hygiene drives me to seek out advanced and scientifically proven treatments for my patients. "My name is Christina. I am a single mom of a beautiful three-year-old girl. I was born and raised in Milan, Italy and moved to Georgia ten years ago. I live close to Atlanta and there’s always so much to see and do. I was home-schooled until moving to Georgia where I earned my GED and went to Chattahoochee Technical College where I received a certification in Business.
"I have always had a fascination for dentistry and thought it would be a great career for me to get into. I graduated from a Dental Assisting Program and shortly thereafter was hired by Dr. Suway. I have now been working as a dental assistant in Dr. Suway’s office for 2 ½ years and enjoy my position. Meeting new patients and being able to get close and personal with my patients is a very enjoyable thing for me. Every day is something different and challenging for me. Helping patients build their confidence and smile again is a great feeling.
